While you are in the terminal, take time to look around you at the building itself. It was designed by architect Minoru Yamasaki, it is said to the have inspired terminals in New York (John F. Kennedy International Airport) and Paris (Charles de Gaulle International Airport).

Trivia: Lambert Field, as it was originally named, rose to international fame in the 20th century, due, in part, to its association with aviator Charles Lindbergh.
