A train from Gatwick Airport is 30 minutes from central London via the non-stop Gatwick Express rail service, and has national rail links to destinations around Britain. The Gatwick Airport train station is linked directly to the South Terminal, and is a few minutes from the North Terminal by free transit train. Gatwick Airport train information and ticket desks are located in the station and in the Arrivals areas of both terminals.

 

 

Gatwick Express is the fastest rail link between the airport and central London. Non-stop trains run to and from London Victoria every 15 minutes and the journey takes 30 minutes (35 minutes on Sundays).

Heathrow-Gatwick Transfers:


Gatwick Express departs every 15 minutes from London Victoria station and takes just 30 minutes to Gatwick South Terminal. Passengers requiring the North Terminal should take the free transit between terminals, which is just upstairs from the train platforms. These Express trains, from the airport to Victoria station, also depart at 15 minute intervals and have a journey time of 30 minutes.


The Heathrow Express departs from Paddington and the airport stations (Heathrow Central and Terminal 5) every 15 minutes. The journey time is 15 minutes from Heathrow Central and 21 minutes from Terminal 5. Terminal 4 passengers should change at Heathrow Central (connections every four/five minutes). Heathrow Connect services operate between the same stations, but run half hourly and are a slower, stopping service. Passengers can also travel to and from Heathrow Airport and the centre of London on the Piccadilly line tube.

 

Passengers can travel between Victoria and Paddington stations by bus, taxi or London Underground (District and Circle Lines).

 

Stansted-Gatwick Transfers:


Gatwick Express departs every 15 minutes from London Victoria station and takes just 30 minutes to Gatwick South Terminal. These Express trains, from the airport to Victoria station, also depart at 15 minute intervals and have a journey time of 30 minutes. Stansted Express trains depart every 15 or 30 minutes with an average journey time of 45 minutes. They run between London Liverpool Street station and Stansted Airport.

 

Passengers can travel between Victoria and Liverpool Street stations by bus, taxi or London Underground (Circle Line or Victoria and Central lines).
