Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL) Public & Private Bus Transfers

Public bus tickets are valid for 2 hours, and for a trip from TXL Berlin Tegel Airport to Berlin city you need zones A and B. Using the ticket machines in the airport, first select English, then 'Local Traffic' then Berlin AB. Fare is EUR 2.10. Tickets must be validated in a special machine before use, and then are valid for 2 hours on buses throughout the city. Tickets can also be bought on the bus for cash. The Express buses X9 and TXL are a fast and cheap way of getting to the city centre.

BVG Jet Express Bus No109 to Zoo Station (city centre). Bus leaves the airport daily, Monday to Friday. Travel time to Zoo station is around 30 minutes. This is a slow service. For faster service use the X9 bus to Zoo Station.

BVG Jet Express Bus No128 to Wedding - Osloer Strasse. Bus leaves the airport daily, Monday to Friday. Travel time to Osloer Strasse is around 23 minutes.
