Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) Train & Subway Services

The MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) train system has routes all over Singapore and runs Monday-Saturday every 10-20 minutes from 05:19-23:50 and on Sundays every 10-20 minutes from 05:47-23:50. It runs to Terminal 2 only at the Singapore Airport.

Getting to the City: Passengers going to the city get on the train at the basement level of  Changi Terminal 2 (well signed, but passengers in Terminal 1 must use the free SkyTrain on the departure level of Terminal 1 to get to T2). Buy your ticket from the touch screen machine and proceed to the platform. Take the first train, as all go to Tanah Merah Interchange. After ~6 minutes, you will arrive at the 2nd stop, Tanah Merah Interchange. Transfer here is easy. Exit the train on the LEFT SIDE (important!) and cross the platform where a train to the city will shortly arrive. Total transfer time to the city centre (City Hall) is about 25-30 minutes.
