The RDU Observation Park features an elevated observation platform, grass lawn, picnic area - and the ability to listen to control tower communications. Free parking. Open sunrise to sunset.
The General Aviation Terminal Observation Balcony gets you close to the action on the general aviation ramp and offers great viewing of planes on RDU’s main runways. Terminal open 06:00 - 21:00. Crosswinds Café open lunchtime Monday-Friday. Free parking for 4 hours.
The new Terminal 1 Concourse features large windows, offering a panoramic view of airfield.
