Madrid Airport Subway Rates & Fares

You can buy metro tickets at the ticket office or the automatic ticket machine. For a single journey anywhere within zone A, tickets cost EUR 1.

MAD Madrid Airport Subway Details

A train from Madrid Airport is available on the Madrid Metro System and this is efficient and covers most of the city. From the Madrid Airport, trains run between 06:00 and 01:45 every day. Metro Line 8 runs towards the centre (direction Nuevos Ministerios), but passengers have to change at Mar de Cristal (Line 4) to reach the most central destinations.

The Madrid Airport train station is in Terminal 2 at Madrid Airport, reasonably close to Terminals 1 and 3. The entrance is on the lower floor of Terminal 2, off a corridor that also leads to Parking Lot P2. The stop is well signposted. There is a rail info desk located at the airport.

Although a Metro connection is being built to Terminal 4, it is not yet ready.
