There is a subway station at the Gimpo Airport. Fares are charged on a per zone basis.

Adult fares on the subway are:

Basic Fare	KRW 900 up to 10km
Per 5km between 10km and 40km	KRW 100
Per 10km over 40km	KRW 100

Other fares are:

Students	20% discount from regular fare
Children	50% discount from regular fare

If you travel from the inner suburbs to outer-lying non-suburb sections(Gyeongbu Line~Chonan) successively, the basic fare will be charged first, with an additional fare of KRW 100 on every 4km of the non-suburb sections you travel. Free transfers are available to the bus system as long as you put your Travel card on the transit card terminal whenever you get on or off. If you do not put your card up to the sensor you lose all free transfer privileges. When using the travel card correctly you will continue to be charged the per kilometer rate until you reach your final stop.
