Christchurch Airport taxis are available both outside the CHC Christchurch International Airport International Arrivals Hall (exit customs, turn left and go out the door) and Domestic baggage claim. Christchurch Airport transportation rates vary between companies, but expect to pay about NZD 45-65 for the 20 minute journey to town. Note that some Christchurch taxi companies offer free call phones inside the CHC airport to call your favourite company for pick-up and you DO NOT need to take the first taxi in the queue outside (you may pick your favourite).
