Where is Port Au Prince Airport?  


Port-au-Prince is the capital and largest city of Haiti. The city is large and bustling, starting very early in the mornings. In this beautiful city, you will find Haiti's museums, natural wonders, forts, parks, and many suprises here, and in the nearby wealthy suburb of Pétionville.


There has been a lot of rebuilding since the 2010 earthquake, but in some places you may see rubbles or small tent cities. There is a large expat community as well, mostly aid workers and the like.


Port au Prince International Airport (IATA: PAP, ICAO: MTPP), officially Port au Prince Toussaint L'Ouverture International Airport, also referred to as Port au Prince Toussaint L'Ouverture Airport, Port au Prince L'Ouverture Airport, Tabarre Airport, or simply Port au Prince Airport, is located in Tabarre, 13 kilometers (8 miles) from Port-au-Prince, Haiti.


Whle damaged in the 2010 earthquake, the repaired airport was reopened in 2012. Construction is underway on an expanded terminal, due to open in 2015.


This Haiti airport is the country's busiest.
